SCOTTISH SEX PISTOLS Press Release / Bio:

Never Mind The Trossachs here’s The SCOTTISH SEX PISTOLS! They were given the approval of the original band when Keith and John Lydon teamed up some years ago, under John’s instruction they played on Richard Branson’s paddle steamer for
the opening of Parliament and the launch of the Sex Pistols compilation album ‘Kiss This’.

Now fresh from their recent sold out 100 Club show in London and from playing to a ‘captive’ audience at Scotland’s notorious Barlinnie Prison. The band return for 4 more captivating shows in Scotland with a new line up!

The Scottish Sex Pistols have included members of The Professionals, The Alarm and The Members.

The current line up is fronted by Johnny McRotten aka actor Keith Warwick of ‘My Parents Are Aliens’ TV fame, his onstage antics, banter and antagonistic Lydon-isms are a joy to behold!

Bryan Tolland aka Glen McMattlock on bass was in Del Amitri, with whom he has recorded & performed worldwide. He has also played in UK chart-toppers The Bluebells.

Joe Whyte aka Steve McJones on Guitar is also in Jericho Hill, the world’s greatest Johnny Cash tribute! (He said modestly!) and ex-Reaction, God-Fearing atheist!

Paul Fernon aka Paul McCook on drums enjoys hitting things and is a keen exponent in the art of the understatement. He too has played everywhere in various bands.

LIZZIE & THE BANSHEES Biography:

Lizzie and the Banshees are a Siouxsie & The Banshees Tribute band who are based near Edinburgh, they formed in 2012 and have been blasting out the mighty sound of Chislehurst ever since. They have had an impressive schedule of gigs, they
play to packed clubs and celebrate the Banshees at the height of their beauty and powers, which is no mean feat. One of their last shows was a brilliant sold out performance at London’s iconic 100 Club! Lizzie and co had a much needed rest with over a year’s
hiatus but now they are back with a new guitarist and ready to weave their magic and leave us all spellbound once more!
